The Budget Law may be reintroduced to include an increase in social security spending. The reduction of pension review adjustments applied in 2023 and 2024 has passed constitutional court examination, so the Budget Law could be reintroduced to include increased social security spending. It applies a reduced percentage to all amounts (including those within the full adequacy threshold), and for individuals who exceed four times the minimum INPS contribution, it will make the pension increases lower in 2027.
