The planning of a positive future for local businesses and the economic ecosystem [P1] The investment plan proposed by President Mirco Carloni aims to transform seven controlled ports under the Authority of the Central Adriatic Sea into transit points into specialized nodes, increasing competitiveness among all while respecting their character and growth prospects that also arise from private intervention with the push of ZES. Four months after taking office, President Mirco Carloni presents an investment plan written with 'rigorous caution', aiming to maintain the balance of the entity's accounts. Resources are its own resources and will be added to those recovered from the MIT (106 million euros at the end of last year).

For maritime ports of Marche and Abruzzo it is the beginning of the Post-PNRR era: "We want to be operational and concrete, giving rapid execution to the projects that arrive from private sources, putting ourselves at the service of our economic ecosystem", promises Carloni. Precisely the relationship with enterprises forms one of the assets that hold up the Plan: the terminalization of traditional quays, through which an old harbor quay becomes specialized terminal. It is a transition from an open and public model to a dedicated and privatized model, which will bring new revenues to the Entity and better logistics for investors. Not by chance are other 6... In the current distribution of resources, the Marches have been allocated 217,9 million.

The Port of Ancona, due to its size and development capacity, absorbs the largest amount of resources over three years: by December 2027, it will launch a competition worth €344 million for the expansion of infrastructure benefits for Finantieri, which has also activated an additional €40 million for the modernization and expansion of the facility within the port area, within the framework of the agreement with the Authority for the concession of the area until 2064. By the next December, work on the second sluice of the submerging dam will be launched, an operation worth €73 million. In 2028, works worth €30 million are scheduled at the Clementine Quay, currently halted awaiting the Environmental Strategic Assessment.

At the same time, both the commune and the region have control over a project for the reopening of the maritime station, an investment estimated at 30 million euros. However, the dream is the realization of the peninsula on the wharf commercial area, which converges also with the city of Ancona: a project worth at least 300 million euros to accommodate both ferries that transport traffic and those for passengers and goods…. [P2] The main objective of the investment plan is to promote the competitiveness of local ports through the terminalization of docks, which will allow integrating local enterprises into specialized activities. This process not only increases the income of the entity but will make these ports development places, favoring the expansion of businesses and activating new entrepreneurial initiatives.

Furthermore, this investment plan aims to create an environment conducive to private involvement, improving the logistics of investors and increasing their confidence in the region.

The planning of this investment plan has been approved after several meetings with workers, entrepreneurs, and local administrators who expressed their desire for these ports to become places of growth.
