Milan-based Medisolve, which operates in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from its Italian headquarters, has acquired the Austrian company Mides GmbH. This fundamental step for Medisolve represents an additional step towards extending its presence in the biomedical devices sector in these countries.

Mides, with its strong relationships and significant client relations, will be reinforced in the laboratory platform of Medisolve and become the European pole for the group's innovation. Medisolve can leverage the solid relationships developed by Mides with clients, improving efficiency and expanding the range of services offered. After exceeding €200 million in revenue and over a thousand employees, including operational staff in more than 300 European healthcare facilities, Medisolve has reached the goal of consolidating as a partner ideal for affording Mides and valorizing the results achieved by its team.

CEO Angelo Maresca emphasized the importance of this acquisition, stating that 'The acquisition of Mides represents another fundamental step in our expansion strategy in the Dach region and, more generally, in the European market. Mides has built strong and significant relationships with clients over time and are thrilled to ensure their continuity, further enhancing and extending the support provided.' The structure of the operation was structured on three lines: €175 million Term Loan B, €25 million revolving credit facility, and €45 million investment and acquisition line, totaling €245 million. This financing was guided by Barings and Deutsche Bank, allowing the Italian group to complete the acquisition of Mides and other development projects of the group.

Today, Medisolve has exceeded €200 million in revenue and over a thousand employees, with operational staff in more than 300 European healthcare facilities and an extension of its presence in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Austria.
