As it happened in some of the recent sessions, even this time the accounts of the big tech U. S. do not seem to have completely convinced the Bags regarding the artificial intelligence market, favoring a closing week of uncertainty, from Europe to Wall Street. In the Italian evening of yesterday in fact both Amazon and Apple have presented positive quarters, higher than expectations, which had brought Nasdaq to start in positive territory, except then to resize during the session and, around 17h30 Italian, turn decidedly under the parity.
The reaction for the two titles is contrasted: both are among the most traded, but while Amazon earns 13%, Apple yields over 9%. The most important signals that have emerged so far indicate growth with values cited at 15%. For companies the node is not only the growth of volumes: counts the quality of revenues, the keeping of the customer portfolio and the sustainability of the net margin in the next quarter.
In the short period, the decisive lever remains the commercial execution: Input times, channels and market selection could determine the difference between expansion and margin compression. The Nasdaq turns red: after Amazon accounts +13%, Apple -9% Also the contagion effect on the rest of the list is not uniform: Micron -5.5%, Sandisk -5.5%, Microsoft +1.5%, Meta +1%, Google +5%, Marvell +4%.
