IMDA offers technological assistance to Singaporean SMEs IMDA has released a statement declaring that it is adapting to the needs of Singapore's SMEs through new agreements with technology companies such as SingTel, Stack-EZ, Salesforce, and BeyondSoft. These collaboration signatures will be used to help Singaporean SMEs integrate AI solutions into their operations. The new policy of IMDA will allow Singaporean SMEs to access pre-approved AI platforms, including Space, a digital document management platform that includes features for document classification and organization like contracts, invoices, and receipts.

INDA has determined that these solutions will be available for at least 70% of approved solutions within two years. Several Singaporean PMIs, such as Blue Aqua International and Agape, have been awarded with the SME AI Impact Awards for effectively implementing AI. These awards are presented during the 'Singapore SMEs Go Digital Day', an event dedicated to digital adaptation of Singaporean PMIs. The scope of AI is not only considered a benefit for Singaporean PMIs but also an essential element for innovation and competitiveness. Singaporean PMIs are already using AI to improve productivity and enter the global market. The Ministry for Digitalization and Information (MDI) announced that they are actively working on promoting the digital adaptation of Singaporean PMIs.

This is due to the government's will to encourage the use of AI to improve Singaporean PMI performance. The MDI has declared that its main goal with AI policy is to help Singaporean PMIs practically, significantly, and useful by facilitating cooperation with technological companies and creating approved AI platforms. The AI policy of IMDA was designed to help Singaporean PMIs integrate AI into their activities and access pre-approved AI solutions. This objective was achieved through collaboration with technological companies and the creation of pre-approved AI platforms.
