The Green Data Center and the power of HPC6 and HPC7

At the heart of the initiative is Eni’s Green Data Center, which has been operating since 2013. Over the years, the facility has enabled the group to develop advanced expertise in designing and managing high-performance computing infrastructure.

The center currently hosts the HPC6 and HPC7 supercomputers. Their combined capacity allows Eni to exceed the exascale threshold, reinforcing its position among the industrial companies with the greatest supercomputing capacity in the world.

This digital factory can process enormous volumes of data and support increasingly complex applications, ranging from advanced simulations and artificial intelligence to emerging uses in energy and industrial innovation.
