A new innovation center at the heart of TuscanyThe Zucchetti Centro Sistemi (Zcs), a company based in Terranuova Bracciolini, Valdarno Aretna, has invented Ambrogio, a wire-free lawn mower revolution for the era. Today, professional robots for gardens, hotels (service in rooms or restaurant), and warehouse movement are conquering an entire production facility that was inaugurated today, September 30th, the fifth of Zcs' innovation hub active also in automation, artificial intelligence, software, and renewable energies. The new building, baptized Future Palace, extends over five thousand square meters (more than 2,700 underground parking spaces), is equipped with a photovoltaic installation of 180 kilowatts on the roof, and requires 14 million euros in investment.

It will house the production of robots, research and development, and offices, with the goal of reorganizing and expanding the group founded more than 40 years ago and led by Fabrizio Bernini, who owns 50% of the shares (the other 50% belongs to the Lodigiano Zucchetti Group). This year Zcs expects to realize 240 million euros in revenue (+10%) with 850 employees. In robotics, the group is investing strongly: 16 million euros have been allocated to create new professional robots just presented on the market. 'In a scenario marked by economic uncertainties and geopolitical tensions and the strong acceleration of artificial intelligence' - Fabrizio Bernini, President of Confindustria Toscana, underlines - 'we want to continue growing to be a meeting point between internal expertise and new sectors such as collaborative robotics'.

Growth will occur both internally and externally. By the end of the year, Zcs plans to sign three acquisitions of historical software companies after those realized in the last biennium. In 2027 - announces Bernini - software companies for human resource management will merge into a new company, Zcs People spa.

Meanwhile, this year Zcs has hired another 30 people, with an average age of 34 years, and is accelerating on the integration of managers at the head of various divisions. The company has invested enormously over the past two decades, especially in the search for new forms of work and intelligent systems. This innovation center was opened precisely in Valdarno Aretna, where the history of Zucchetti had a great impact.

The Future Palace is the result of a central growth strategy led by Fabrizio Bernini, who wants to continue being a meeting point between internal expertise and new sectors such as collaborative robotics.
